At the United Nations Plaza, I produced the following event video commemorating 60 years of material restitution. Following the breakfast program, attendees were invited to the U.N. General Assembly Hall for the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day program. Washington Jewish Week interviewed me about The Falafel Frenzy fundraiser, I helped to organize on Christmas eve. We raised $15k for charity by 600+ young Jewish professionals. "We're a group of socially conscious young Jewish professionals that wanted to create an opportunity for people to come together and have a safe, fun time and raise money for a good cause," said host committee member, Jason Langsner. "We don't place ads or do radio spots, we just each invite our friends through social networking and word of mouth, so it takes on this viral nature of all of my friends are going to be there so I want to go."  |
